The Class CA - Hairdressing and Manicuring application packet for the 2024-2025 school year is now available.  Click here to download the application packet or pick up a paper packet in the  Warrensburg Area Career Center (WACC) main office.  Classes will begin in August 2024.

Please note the required documents and deadlines outlined in the application packet. On the application itself, please do not complete items 12 through 18.  Submit an original completed application to Ms. Carolyn Carmack.

MACHS BACKGROUND CHECK (NAME SEARCH)

The Warrensburg Area Career Center is required to ensure that all students enrolled in an adult program submit to a background check through the MO State Highway Patrol MACHS NAME SEARCH portal.

 Through the MO State Highway Patrol MACHS website, the applicant is responsible for registering and paying for the NAME SEARCH background check. Refer to the MACHS Tutorial for step-by-step instructions on how to set up an account, navigate the NAME SEARCH PORTAL, and request a notarized letter of the results within the NAME SEARCH PORTAL.  A copy of the notarized letter with the results must be submitted as part of the application process.

 A name-based query costs $15.00* plus an additional payment processing fee. The processing fee payment schedule is 2.00% of the purchase amount plus $0.25*.  Generally, the background checks are completed within seven business days.  Applicants must provide a notarized copy of the results to the Warrensburg Area Career Center.  *Subject to change.
